He nodded.

Opened in 1907. Designed by George Keister for theatre impresario David Belasco and originally known as the Stuyvesant Theatre. It has 1,016 seats arranged over three levels. It has been operated by The Shubert Organization since 1948.
Belasco was famous for his ability to recreate stage settings with a striking sense of realism.
